About us
VAG Scene changes the game in the way individuals connect with other enthusiasts and industry professionals. We give the spotlight to all those in the Volkswagen community, allowing them to share their builds, stories, and thoughts with the entire scene. Every car has a story. From the makers, to the builders, to the friends who put it together. Our goal is to bring all the enthusiasts closer together, while strengthening the spirit of the movement.
"Where culture meats lifestyle" is the emphasis of what the V.A.G. scene is about. German cars are our passion and we live it every day.
Steve Da Silva
(Business Development, Marketing)
Having been part of the scene for many years, Steve noticed there was something missing in the online experience.
It was by being both and enthusiast and company representative that he knew the community would benefit from a new web platform. There needed to be more available so he worked very hard in putting the VAGScene concept together for all of us car enthusiasts. His experience with a very renowned tuning company goes hand in hand with his current role in the business development, marketing and creative concepts of VAGScene's web interface.
Paul Bars
(Marketing & Media)
Being a car lover his whole life, Paul tried his hand at photography a couple years back by showing up to local car meets. He then got himself a vintage muscle, but realized that the crowd was not the same as it was in the V.A.G. scene. Slowly, but surely, he made his leap into the euro circle and discovered what it was truly about. Having helped a friend with the Orangeball Rally for 2 years (The Rally from Montreal to Waterfest), and putting together a new ride, Ocean Blitz (The Rally from Montreal, Toronto, Buffalo and NY to H2Oi), he was a great prospect to bring aboard. His skills with film and photography have been appreciated by car lovers for two years now. Working both in marketing and media, he hopes to bring new ideas and concepts to VAGScene.
Alex Crousset
(Web Developer, Design)
Present in the Volkswagen community for a number of years and had help numerous well known companies and shops get to the next level, he is a well-known player that has brought a lot to the scene. With a ten years experience in programming, web integration, marketing, and design, Alex is the key component in bringing the whole VAGScene experience together. Working closely with Steve and Paul, he ensures the vision of the project will thrive.
