Vagkraft 2012 Photo Coverage Share Hi Rez Picture

For this 6th edition of Vagkraft, I drove west of Toronto with the one and only Jordan Donnelly from V2Lab. We left Saturday at noon to arrive there in the evening and prep ourselves for the next day. After with friends from Montreal, I assisted Jordan in a couple shoots around our hotel. Like at most meets we travel to, there was the typical parking lot drinking happening.

We set our alarms early enough to get to the show on time. Upon arrival, we could see the show layout was similar to last year’s. A dyno setup on one side, the show grounds, and the auto cross area on the other. We found out that people come mostly from Ontario and parts of Quebec, although we did see a few cars from Massachusetts and New York.

Near the food stands was a car on display I’ve never seen before. It was platted in Ontario and was used for evaluative purposes only. In essence it will in no way imply future availability in Canada. The vehicle in question was a 2013 Golf Cabriolet. Resembling in some ways to the EOS, it borrowed its looks and combined it with the MK6 Golf.

We went over to SEM Motorsport’s booth to check out their customer’s rides and snap some pictures. Later in the day, we hooked up a few GoPros to their blue R32 with fluorescent wheels and watched it rip around the auto cross track that was setup for the show.
