Waterfest 2012 by Quattroworld & VAGScene

This year's video took a different turn from what I typically put together. Initially inspired by a video done by Tony Hawk during the Gumball 3000, I wanted to bring the same creative idea to the euro car scene. I finally pulled myself together to do this after seeing 1Kind Studio’s take on the “Call me maybe” video.

I was not going to use the same song, so finding the right one was a bit difficult. I needed something that people were familiar with, but would also enjoy listening to. “Fight for your right to party” depicts the attitude of the last two Waterfests we’ve had. Cops have been chasing down every dubber after the car show, preventing them from meeting up at parking lots. The atmosphere of the after parties has not been the same since 2010.

Nonetheless, we enjoyed the show and seeing old friends and meeting new ones. The guys at Quattroworld were awesome and we thank them for helping us put together this video of the show.

Hopefully Waterfest will return to the great show it once was, and the local law enforcement will back off for that one weekend a year we tend to take over.

EDIT: We've included the vimeo embeded link as well since the youtube one may not work on mobile phones.
